Bishkek City Hall: the Capital is on the Alert

Every day in the capital’s mayor’s office, meetings of the city headquarters are held to monitor the epidemiological situation in the city.
Together with the heads of city centers of family medicine, we discussed a plan of comprehensive measures in case of an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 and community-acquired pneumonia in the autumn-winter period.
The Algorithms for the protection of the townspeople and children in the era of a pandemic have been discussed in details: Preparation for the opening daily and nightly hospitals based on FMCs, fitness centers, and specialized hospitals for children as needed.
 The planned number of beds in hospitals is 500 in each district.
Recall that in the summer, at the peak of the spread of COVID-19 and pneumonia, the capital city hall deployed medical units for 1173 places per day.
Also, organizational issues are being resolved on the material and technical support of hospitals, family medicine centers, a call center for self-diagnosis 118. Also, several tasks have been set to train a reserve of medical personnel of healthcare organizations, mobile teams and an emergency medicine center.
According to the city health department and the heads of the UFMC, the staffing of the medical staff has already been completed.
