Protests are going, but the virus is still here

A working meeting of the leadership with akims of districts and heads of departments involved in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, was held at the city hall.

The issue of the readiness of day and night hospitals in case the hospitals cannot cope with the flow of sick people was discussed. In the capital, 20 hospitals are now ready for 1173 beds. The hospitals are fully staffed with medical personnel, equipment, PPE, divided into sanitary zones: green and red. The head of the state sanitary and epidemiological supervision in Bishkek, the chief sanitary doctor of the capital, Kuban Kundashev, said that epidemiologists went to check compliance with sanitary standards in hospitals and were ready to give an opinion on the opening.

Vice-Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva suggested to enhance the interaction of district akimiats, municipal territorial departments (MTD), and family medicine centers, and also notified that the united family medicine centers continue the vaccination of the population against seasonal ARVI.

Vice-mayor for housing and communal services Alymbek Abdyldaev said that as of October 15, the city was connected to heat supply from the communal enterprise “Bishkekteploenergo” and the PLC “Bishkekteploset”. He also said that schools and kindergartens have not yet started the heating season due to online education.

Vice-Mayor Azizbek Alymkulov instructed to update the algorithms for interaction between district akimiats and family medicine centers to identify and treat COVID-19 patients. Now MTD will intensify its work every quarter in every district so that citizens can get advice from family doctors about the algorithm for self-treatment in case of primary symptoms.

Vice-Mayor for architecture and construction Ulanbek Azygaliev reported about the readiness of admitting children to a new kindergarten in the Tunguch microdistrict, as well as on the final stage of commissioning a kindergarten on Tynystanova Street. Let us remind you that the kindergarten was built instead of the burnt-out tax office.

First Vice-Mayor Almaz Baketayev instructed the city’s finance department to resolve issues of possible observation of doctors as soon as possible, and prevent arrears for energy resources of budgetary organizations.

The head of the municipality Aziz Surakmatov appealed to the district akims to ensure the safety of the residents.
