Bangkok’s New Confirmed Cases Gradually Drop

On 23rd April 2020, Pol.Lt.Gen. Sopon Pisuttiwong, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, presided over the meeting of the BMA’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, No. 30/2020.

The meeting reported current situation of the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on 23rd April 2020. In Bangkok, 3 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed with the total confirmed cases were 1,454, while 15 patients were recovered with the total recovered cases of 1,298. One patient has died, which brought the total number of deaths to 22. These showed that the number of Bangkok’s new cases are on a downward trend.

The BMA has created an infographic on advice for prevention of COVID-19 at the construction sites for employers or persons in charge and for workers. The infographic will be published in Thai, English, and Burmese. Also, officials from 50 district offices were assigned to promptly visit the construction sites in their responsible areas and publicize this infographic.
