BMA APPLIES LESSON LEARNED FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

On 21st May 2020, Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, joined the meeting of the BMA’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, No. 46/2020.

The meeting reported current situation of the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on 21st May 2020. In Bangkok, two new additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed with the total confirmed cases of 1,533.

The meeting urged related agencies to learn from international practices and implementation results in various countries such as Republic of Korea, French Republic, People’s Republic of China and United Kingdom in containing and preventing the spread of COVID-19, which can be both successful and unsuccessful, before and after the relaxing of control and preventive measures.  These lessons learned should be analyzed and adapted to suit the control and prevention of the spread of COVID-19 situation in Bangkok area.
