BMA EMPHASIZES STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH LENIENT MEASURES TO PREVENT RECURRENCE

On 14th May 2020, Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, joined the meeting of the BMA’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, No. 41/2020.

The meeting reported current situation of the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on 14th May 2020. In Bangkok, no new additional COVID-19 confirmed case was found. However, Thailand situation report showed one confirmed case who traveled from Phuket to Chiang Mai. Therefore, the meeting urges related departments to conduct inspection seeking for people who have traveled from Phuket and stayed in Bangkok as soon as possible in order to transfer them into quarantine facility.

Moreover, the meeting has reiterated all related departments to inspect and control establishments that were granted leniency to strictly comply with lenient measures.
